Facebook Pages

Prepare and review your Facebook Pages posts.

Prepare company posts with the same review flow as your other channels.

Choose the Page and version

Keep the Page account, text and media visible as you review. This connection is for Facebook Pages.

Formats, limits and results

See the supported formats, text and media limits, required settings, platform-only features and available metrics below. These details come from the same capability data the editor uses.

Confirm the version you intend to share

A person confirms publishing by default. A workspace owner can explicitly enable auto-publish for a particular agent in a particular workspace.

Current access

Limited

Works now only for people with a role on the heyeveryone Meta app (administrators, developers, testers) and the Pages they manage. Serving every customer needs Advanced Access, which requires Meta App Review and Business Verification.

More to know

  • Access is 'available' for Pages managed by people with a role on our Meta app; serving other people's Pages needs Advanced Access (App Review plus Business Verification).
  • Post text limits and feed video specs (types, size, length) are not confirmed by the checked Meta docs, so they are not enforced. The often-quoted 63,206-character post limit is not in Meta's docs.
  • Photos: JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF or TIFF up to 10 MB, confirmed on the Page photos reference (Meta recommends PNGs under 1 MB). Alt text is sent as alt_text_custom; no length limit is published.
  • A text or link post needs text, a link, or both (the Page feed rejects an empty post); text alone is optional.
  • Multi-photo posts: the maximum number of photos is not documented, and the attached_media flow was not re-confirmed.
  • Feed video (non-Reel) goes to /<PAGE_ID>/videos, by file_url or the Graph API resumable upload (confirmed on the Video API publishing guide); its specs and size limit are not published there.
  • Reels: MP4 recommended, H.264 or H.265 (the guide also mentions VP9 and AV1), 9:16, 1080x1920 recommended (540x960 minimum), 3 to 90 seconds, 24 to 60 fps, AAC audio at 128 kbps or more. Limit of 30 API-published Reels per 24 hours.
  • Photos, videos and Reels are pulled from our public URL (url / file_url) when Meta's servers can reach it, and uploaded as bytes otherwise (for example from local development). Feed video byte uploads use the long-lived user token for the upload session and the Page token to publish, on graph-video.facebook.com.
  • Insights: impressions metrics were deprecated on 2025-11-15 (post_impressions_unique errors on every version since v26). Posts read post_media_view (views), post_total_media_view_unique, post_clicks and reactions; videos and Reels read /<video-id>/video_insights.
  • Permissions: pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_posts, pages_read_user_content, read_insights, business_management (the last is kept until a live test shows business-owned Pages list without it). With Facebook Login for Business, a login configuration id replaces the scope list.
  • Reels have no published file size limit.
  • heyeveryone publishes at the scheduled time and doesn't use Facebook's own scheduling. For reference, Meta's docs disagree on the window: 10 minutes to 30 days (Pages posts guide), up to 75 days (Page feed reference), within 29 days for Reels.

Questions and answers

Can I use every feature in the platform app?
No. Platform APIs expose only some features. The format guide identifies what you need to finish manually.
